🍍Tid-Bits # 1 : Challenges, Music, Reading
and other bits! A lil bit of everything honestly!
Hey there!
Welcome to the first Tid-Bits where I share a lil list of various bits! The Tid-Bits lists includes a range of topics. Sometimes I’m sharing ocean news that you may have missed, sometimes a recipe I love, fun facts, something I read and loved that I think you would love too, calls to action, a new art supply or video I loved, and so on! I think you get the idea! So lets officially get to the first Tid-Bits post!
🎨Its officially day one for the Lindsay Jean Thomson #The100DayProject Newsletter kick off! Are you joining? I really want to focus on trying to do a lil art every day! Even if it’s 10 minutes in my sketchbook it’s something!✨ I attempted it a few years ago and it was honestly wonderful! I didn't finish it because the work I created during it made me a bit too busy to continue one which was a great thing! I actually did all of the are for my Beach Guides during it!
Let me know what you are doing as a 100 Day Challenge if you are doing it!
🐬This conversation about aquarium and ocean conservation is such a good read. As an ocean lover there is always an internal battle when it comes to Aquariums since not all are ethical, so this is just a great read! Also the comments adding to the conversation.
🍊This Orange Tofu Recipe is so good!
📒Did you hear the good news? Austin Kleon is releasing a new book this year! I have all of his books and have read most of them at least 2 time or more. Don’t Call It Art
🎵The Summer Set put out a new song called America! and its so good in a sad way. Sigh I’ll be adding to my playlist filled with All Time Low, Green Day and a few others!
🥀Following the song this only makes sense to share next. The past two weeks have been horrible if you are like… A fan of clean air, clean water, as well as being against using known cancer causing agents…. Future Earth put together a post with an easy to digest what happened / what it means.
⛏️ICYMI : Mercury Regulation Rollbacks are happening which is not good obviously. Our Water, our soil, our air. Just everything ya know? This lil excerpt from the article shares exactly why regulations are good, and why rolling them back is not.
📣Call To Action: The Endangered Species Coalition has a form for you to use to oppose the Endangered Species Act (ESA) changes. If you have yet to hear… The Current Administration wants to change how the ESA works. The want things like Habitat Loss to no be a factor, along with other changes so check this out and see if you want to add to the conversation opposing these changes.
Sea You Next Time!
