đTid-Bits #3 Art Videos, New Fave Treat
and lots of random bits from all parts of life!
Hello Hello!
Welcome back to another Tid-Bits! I hope you are having a lovely weekend, or at this point shall I say Sunday evening? Did you get up to anything fun this past week?
Ok now itâs time for the traditional Tid-Bits where I share random tid-bits of things Iâve liked, enjoyed or found interesting that I think you might like! đ
đ¨Art Things Iâm Enjoying
Lisa Bardot posted a fun Analog Supply video and it was such a fun watch, and it basically turned into a sketchbook tour as well, and I LOVE a sketchbook tour so check it out below! Iâve loved Lisas channel for all of her amazing Procreate education and I love the new addition of the physical supplies!
Another video that I thoroughly enjoyed was Sophie McPikes Sketchbook tour. I just LOVE a sketchbook tour and hers always just make me want to play in my sketchbook! Also I think hearing other artists talk about the fact they donât love every page, or how sometimes they just resort back to the same subjects is just nice. So if you are in the mood for a long Sketchbook tourâŚ
đRandom Bits of Interest
Obsessed with this Banana Bread Blondie Recipe! If you have a super ripe banana that you think is ready to be thrown out, donât! Make this recipe! Also I know it says Banana Bread but I donât actually think it tastes like banana bread. It tastes like a magical family recipe my mom has made forever where the bananas turn purple and its wonderful!
I just discovered this Florida local Jewelry brand called Shell & Stone and they have such lovely jewelry! Iâm a sucker for rings so I decided to treat myself to a few rings on Wednesday and they arrived yesterday! SO so nice, and I love them! Also random info Iâve been thinking about - A I is not great at rings in videos. Like if you watch hands with rings, the rings seem to move around on the fingers as the hands move, now Iâm sure this will be âresolvedâ in time but for now maybe wearing rings in videos will helps sorta put a signature in your videos? Just a thought!
This new The Band CAMINO song is fun! Very catchy. Also I am enjoying The Cabâs new album. I love that bands I used to listen to are now making new music. Plus I like that they havenât changed or tried to sound like whatever is trending at the moment. They just sound like themselves, and thatâs important imo! Especially now when the music world is also being flooded with AI slop.
đWorldly Things
Ok if youâve ever watched the Day After Tomorrow movie, and youâve also read the more recent reports about the AMOC (The Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation) then you might enjoy/learn from this Outrage + Optimism Podcast Episode!
I listened to it this week while making beach guides, I do still have about 11 minutes left but it was a good conversation.
Did you hear the good news, 59 Countries agreed to work towards a plan that phases out fossil fuels! Alaina Wood made a video about it here!
